Instructions:
- First you will need to have access to the cell phone you are wanting to track. In order to track a cell phone's location you must first decided on a program that will work best for you. There are free software programs online, but for this to work you need to load software to the phone or install a physical GPS chip.
- Install a GPS tracker to the phone. GPS chips come so small that they can be undetected. The GPS chip can be inserted on the back of the phone without anyone even noticing. The chip is powered by the cell phone and sends out a signal that is closely monitored by you through a program on your PC.
- Load tracking software to your personal computer. To be able to track the phone, you need the software also programed into your laptop or PC. Most tracking programs use either Google Maps or Mapquest to make it easier for you to track and view the phone's location by map.
- Activate the tracking system. Any software that you use has to be activated after it is installed. If it is possible keep the phone until you have activated the program, when you activate most tracking programs will send a text message to the phone saying that the program has been activated and is ready for use.

- Find a free mobile phone tracking service. Most services today cost money, but Mologogo.com is not only one of the oldest GPS services--and it is also the only one that is free.
- Sign up and download the software. Enter your name and e-mail address, then create a username and password. You can then download the software and install it to your phone.
- Track the phone. Log on to the website and you will immediately see your location on the website. It will be denoted as a circle. You will then need to decide whether you want your location to remain public, private or available to your friends only. You can also take your location and publicize it to your blog or website.
- Add your friends. Log on to the website and click on "Add Friends" to allow them to see your location. You can also add search functions such as weather data and keep track of your last 100 points from your personal homepage on the website.
